I've been going to Hibachi Buffet for seven years. In my opinion, the entire operation has declined significantly in the past 18 months. The quality of food, the selection choices, and the general overall cleanliness of the place are the key metrics. The men's bathroom is unpleasant. The eating area screams "Remodel/Refresh Me" I always considered eating here a treat since we rarely go out, but as my wife said, "I don't think so". We found a take out place on Toledo Blade at Price which is pretty good so we now do take out instead. Too bad...when they were at the top of their game, they were very good.

We had a terrible experience. From the parking lot we questioned our decision to eat there but we were hungry so we went it. The bathroom was so dirty and smelt so bad my daughter got sick to her stomach. The chicken dish was a grey color. This fish looked like it had been laying in that pan for days and the soup had a thick skin over the top of it. Staff was very pleasant. But I will never go back and now I am feeling blessed we did not end up getting sick. We laugh every time we pass it now as our worst restaurant experience to date.

The decor is dated. Furniture is worn. Bathroom seemed dirty, had a unpleasant smell and the floor seemed greasy. The food was so so but the staff was quite pleasant.

Just ate at this establishment(2/4/12) and it is not very good.The sushi was warm and tasted very bland. The rest of the buffet was hit or miss. The only thing my wife and I agreed on was the teryaki chicken skewers. The waitstaff was pleasant, the only reason for the 1 star. Would not go back again. Eat sushi at your own risk is right for this place.

Like most buffets this place is pretty gross. I wouldn't have gone as I avoid buffets but was meeting some family there so had little choice. Sushi was warm and mushy. Tongs were all dirty and crusty like that hadn't been changed all day. Pretty much felt like I was eating in a public restroom. The whole place had a nasty odor especially the bathroom. Crossing my fingers I don't get sick for the long drive back north tomorrow. The staff was polite and attentive however. My glass of ice water never went empty.

I ate lunch here just because I felt like having variety. It was 7.29 (7.80 after tax). Overall, I guess they might have good days and bad days, but I felt like I came at a not so good day. And the price for lunch is high for the amount of variety. Yes there are 5 tables but that's not a big selection. I'm going to round my rating up to a 3 star. Let's start with the most important.. Food. Food: hot but soggy. I tried a few things but I didn't venture out my usual few things because honestly, the food looked gross. Fried food looked like it sat there for a while, the fresh fish was drowned in juice, and the veggies looked like it was heated up over and over again. The few things I did had from the buffet was so so. I did like the hibachi. I liked that it was cooked fresh (even tho it was over cooked) and I was able to customize the taste. So the food itself gets 3 stars. I didn't tried the sushi or dessert. The not too important things.... Service: so so. I wasn't bothered that the waitress only came over to take my first two plates away and then she didn't come back to take away my other plates. But I was bothered by the fact that I waited for my check and I had to take out my credit card to signal that I'm done. A waitress should be a bit more observant. (I used to work in a restaurant) Atmosphere: okay. It was a bit old and rundown. But it was pretty clean and the lighting was decent. They should definitely replace some of the booths. Ceiling tiles had water stains indicated leaks. Bathroom: didn't use the bathroom. But judging how the atmosphere... the bathroom couldn't be much better

The place is clean, the food is fresh and tasty and the employees are friendly. What more can you want at an all-you-can-eat buffet for $10.50 (that's the dinner price!) Trust me, I was here with the Asian half of my family and they love it here too!
